The Department started with the very inception of Golden valley integrated campus in the year 2009-2010. Electronics and Communication Engineering, one of the most challenging yet progressive fields in today’s electronics-equipped world, offers an array of opportunities to those who make the best out of the quick-pick and play of the scope. The department is well-equipped with exceptional classrooms and state-of-the-art laboratories to enable students to imbibe better practical knowledge, further enhancing their scope to perform better in their career. The department’s student technical forum – Association of Communication Majors and Enthusiasts (ACME) organizes co-curricular, extra-curricular activities like Seminars, Quiz, Group Discussions, painting competitions, Debates, Mock Interviews and Aptitude Tests, extension activities, women empowerment activities regularly to enable the students to excel in their natural aptitudes.
The ECE department is indeed fortunate to have an excellent team of faculty members and is committed to the towards Quality Technical Education with patience, hard work, skill and sincerity. The department has well-equipped laboratories to cater to the needs of the JNTUA curriculum effectively. These laboratories have been meticulously planned and all these laboratories have state-of-the-art equipment. Students pursuing BTech in ECE have a full and flexible undergraduate curriculum. Numerous streams can be tailored to fit every individual’s interests, skills and career goals. Students can prepare for technological careers in Industry, Academia or Management. The department conducts various professional programs with a broad discipline encompassing subjects related to various fields of Electronics & Communication Engineering like VLSI, Robotics, Nanoelectronics, and Embedded Systems etc. The program offers a wide range of design and implementation skill sets which starts right from second semester of the program to provide vital knowledge on various fields of Electronics and Communication Engineering
